Privacy
Dungeon DJ is free to use without an account. You only need one to keep favorites across your devices.
What we store
- Your email address, to recognise your account when you sign in.
- Your password, but only as a one-way hash (argon2id). Nobody, including us, can read it.
- Your favorites and their order.
- A session while you are signed in: a random token in a cookie, which expires after 30 days or when you sign out.
On this device only, your browser also remembers your volume setting. That never leaves your device.
What we don’t do
- No tracking or advertising cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
- Usage statistics, such as which locations are played, are collected without cookies and without your email or account.
- We don’t sell or share your data.
When audio fails to play, your browser reports the error (which track, which location, and your browser version) so we can fix it. It isn’t linked to your account.
Where it’s kept
On our own server, hosted in the European Union.
Deleting your data
Signed in, open the account menu and choose Delete account. Your email, password hash, sessions and favorites are deleted immediately and permanently.
